22A - Elevator Pitch No. 3

It seems like everyone liked the improvements over the first video. I seemed natural and the bright lighting and close-ish camera angle seemed to help. I’m not sure there was too much else to the feedback besides “good job.” It seems like the best improvement was location, which improved lighting, background, sound, and camera angle.

I tried to act more natural. While the elements of where you take the video, lighting, acoustics, etc. are all important, I think how you act is the most important factor in whether someone likes of dislikes your video. So, I did my best to act casually and speak normally to during the video. I didn’t pitch the product nearly as much because it feels a little pointless now (since I’ve already done it twice now and it seems like this video should really focus on improvements made in speaking skills). Since I didn’t pitch the product in this video that much, I should mention that my pitch is pretty much memorized now, though I make small adjustments (like emphasizing features of price) depending on who I’m talking to.

  1. I agree with you that how you act is the most important factor in whether someone likes of dislikes your video. I would recommend that find something to fix your phone next time. It will make your video look more professional :)

  2. Not gonna lie yours had me laughing a little lol i can say that your attempts to act more natural and give your honest opinions on the course were very effective and ultimately paid off in completing the assignment and reminding us all the product that you've been working on for these months.

  3. I liked the pitch because of your welcoming and relatively positive attitude. It's obvious that you have practiced this more than once and I would definitely be interested in learning more about it if I was a potential investor or a customer. Its obvious you did your research, and I hope you are able to learn more about your target market, as it would help your pitch out just a little bit.
